About Askema
Founded in 2015 E.C, ASKEMA Engineering is a youth-led startup dedicated to sustainable manufacturing in Addis Ababa. We specialize in producing high-quality automotive friction materials, such as brake pads and brake shoes, created from recycled organic waste.
Our mission is twofold: advancing the circular economy by repurposing waste and reducing Ethiopia's reliance on imported goods, all while creating valuable local jobs and delivering world-class engineering solutions.
